PowerWrench Portable Valve Actuator

 

Full automatic actuation of a valve is easy to operate but very expensive to install. The PowerWrench portable valve actuator gives you the ease of automatic actuation but with the portablity of a hand tool. Simply bolt the adapter plate onto any valve wheel that you would like to actuate and pull the throttle.

 

The PowerWrench PVA allows the operator to cut actuation time down from hours to minutes. Instead of having multiple operators tirelessly turn a manual valve, they will fight over who gets to use this tool. The PowerWrench makes operating difficult valves a breeze.The PVA comes with multiple safety features to protect workers in process areas. The speed and torque are regulated not only by the air filter lubricator but also by the spring loaded throttle. If the throttle is released the tool automatically stops. Set the amount of airflow on the air filter lubricator and then throttle the tool from zero to full to actuate any valve. There is also a “dead man’s” lever which must be depressed in order for the tool to work. This safety feature forces the operator to hold the tool with 2 hands for added control.

 

Custom adapter plates can be fabricated to accept any size or valve stem length. Add adapter plates to multiple valves in close proximity that must all be opened or closed in succession.
